Sionah is based in Dunbar, East Lothian near to Edinburgh, Scotland. She is an expert in Specific Learning Difficulties (Sp.L.D.), Moderate Learning Difficulties (M.L.D.) and Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Background:
Sionah is currently based in East Lothian, near Edinburgh in Scotland and has the following background experience.
- Completed 3 year teacher training course in 1971 followed by a post graduate 1 year course in Sp.L.D. both in Scotland
- Taught in both primary and secondary schools in both Scotland and England.
- Prior to training as an Educational Psychologist in Scotland was Head of Learning Support in at a large high school in Lincolnshire.
- After training as an Educational Psychologist practised in Local Education Authorities (LEAs) in both Scotland and England.
- Prior to opening the Red Rose School in 1997, was a Lancashire LEA Educational Psychologist, seen as the specialist in Sp.L.D., ASD, BESD and Gifted students.
- As well as background in Sp.L.D., areas of research were implementing behaviour strategies (including conflict resolution) and working with students with Complex learning difficulties.
- Principal Educational Psychologist Western Quebec School Board, Canada; authored and introduced Conflict Resolution programme across all schools.
- Professor in Teacher Education Department, University of Ottawa, Canada.
- Senior Counsellor Trainer within Counselling Department, University of Ottawa, Canada.
- Set up Educational Psychological Service in Saudi Arabia and trained American and British teachers in Sp.L.D./ASD using the University of Edinburgh course.
